Terms & Conditions

1. General Use of the Venue

1.1 Office & Other is a shared workspace. All visitors must conduct themselves respectfully and in a manner that does not disrupt others.

1.2 Users must follow all signage, safety instructions, and any guidance from Office & Other staff.

1.3 The venue is not suitable for children or unsupervised minors. Only registered users and approved guests may enter the coworking areas.

1.4 Office & Other may modify, improve, or update the space at any time without notice.

2. Booking & Access

2.1 All bookings — including desks, boardrooms, and events — must be made through our online scheduling system.

2.2 Bookings are confirmed only once payment is received.

2.3 Access outside staffed hours may require an access code or smart lock entry. Codes must not be shared.

2.4 We reserve the right to deny access to anyone who breaches these Terms & Conditions.

3. Desk Packs (Hot Desk Credit Packs)

By purchasing a Desk Pack, you agree to the following:

3.1 Credits & Usage

  • Each credit equals one Hot Desk Day Pass.

  • Credits can be used on any available day within the 30-day validity period.

  • Credits are automatically applied at checkout when booking a Hot Desk Day Pass.

3.2 30-Day Validity

  • Credits are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.

  • Unused credits expire after 30 days and are non-refundable and non-transferable.

3.3 Booking Requirements

  • All desk bookings must be made online prior to arrival.

3.4 Cancellations

  • Desk bookings may be cancelled up to 12 hours prior to the booking time.

  • Credits returned within the cancellation window will be automatically reissued.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows result in the credit being forfeited.

3.5 Non-Transferable

  • Desk Packs and credits are for individual use only and cannot be shared, transferred, or resold.

3.6 Refunds

  • Desk Packs are non-refundable once any credit has been used.

  • Refund requests for unused Desk Packs are assessed at our discretion.

4. Boardroom & Meeting Room Bookings

4.1 Boardroom bookings may be made hourly, half-day, or full-day as available.

4.2 Payment is required at the time of booking.

4.3 Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the booking start time.
Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.

4.4 Users must leave the room clean and return all equipment, chairs, and cables to their original position.

4.5 Damage to AV equipment, furniture, or fixtures will be charged to the booking holder.

5. Events & Workshops Hosted by Office & Other

5.1 Office & Other hosts small business information nights, workshops, and community sessions directly run by our team.

5.2 Event attendance may require a paid ticket; refunds follow the event’s specific cancellation policy.

5.3 Event participants must comply with all general venue conduct rules outlined in this document.

5.4 The venue is not available for external event hire.

6. Behaviour & Conduct

6.1 Users must behave respectfully and ensure noise levels are appropriate for a shared workspace.

6.2 Abusive language, discriminatory behaviour, harassment, or misconduct will result in immediate removal.

6.3 Alcohol and illegal substances are strictly prohibited unless expressly approved for a specific event hosted by Office & Other.

6.4 Office & Other may suspend or cancel access for misuse of the space or breach of these Terms & Conditions.

7. Internet, Equipment, Printing & Personal Items

7.1 Internet Use

  • Wi-Fi is provided for general business use only.

  • Users must not engage in unlawful activities, heavy downloads, or actions that compromise network security.

7.2 Printing

  • Printing is limited to 30 pages per user per day.

  • Additional printing fees may apply if this limit is exceeded.

7.3 Equipment Use

  • Users must bring their own devices and chargers unless otherwise provided.

  • Damage to venue equipment will be charged to the responsible user.

7.4 Personal Items

  • Office & Other is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

  • Users accept responsibility for their own belongings.

8. Safety & Security

8.1 Users must act safely and follow all emergency procedures.

8.2 Smart lock or access codes must not be shared with anyone.

8.3 Any damage, spills, hazards, or safety concerns must be reported immediately.

8.4 CCTV may operate within the venue for security and safety purposes.

9. Liability

9.1 Office & Other is not liable for any personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal property while on the premises, except where required by law.

9.2 Users accept full responsibility for their own equipment and belongings.

9.3 Professional services delivered by external speakers or attendees are not the responsibility of Office & Other.

10. Payments & Refunds

10.1 All purchases, including desk passes, Desk Packs, room bookings, and event tickets, are final unless stated otherwise.

10.2 Refunds for unused Desk Packs are at the discretion of Office & Other.

10.3 Dishonoured payments or chargebacks may result in suspended access.

11. Changes to Terms

Office & Other may update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
